Thanksgiving at the beach

Thanksgiving is a busy time at the beach. Many families like to kick off their holiday season at the Oregon Coast. There are several annual gift fairs and holiday celebrations worth attending along the coast:

Astoria
Nov 29 - North Coast Chorale: Messiah Sing-a-long - Proceeds go to support the Clatsop County Food Bank. Astoria Christian Church, 115 Harrison at 4pm.

Seaside
Nov 27 - Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting - Parade starts at 7 pm. Caroling and tree lighting will take place after the parade at Downing Square.
Nov 27-Nov 29 - Holiday Gift Fair - Free Admission! Friday 1:30pm-6:30pm, Saturday 10am-8pm, Sunday 11am-3pm.

Cannon Beach
Nov 28 - Haystack Holidays Wreath making at the Community Hall from 10am to 3pm

Nehalem Bay
Nov 27-Nov 28 Neah-Kah-Nie Home for the Holidays Bazaar – Neahkahnie High School

Rockaway Beach
Nov 27 Lighting of the Tree - At the Rockaway Wayside

Tillamook
Nov 28-Nov 29 Holiday Wreath Making - From 11 am to 3 pm at the Tillamook Forest Center.

Cape Meares
Nov 27-Nov 28 Cape Meares 9th Annual Art Show & Sale - 10:00 am -4:00 pm both days at the Little Red School House Community Center on 4th Street.
